Premier police, fire, EMS & public works vehicle upfitting
Mission-ready vehicles. Engineered around the people who depend on them.
Multiplicity provides engineering-led vehicle upfitting for police, fire, EMS, public works, airport, federal, and specialty fleets. We design, program, install, document, test, and support the complete systemAand every build begins with the mission, not a one-size-fits-all package.
The Multiplicity standard
Engineering first. Installation second. Accountability always.
An emergency or work vehicle is a coordinated system, not a collection of accessories. Lighting, siren, communications, control, power, mounting, and operator ergonomics must work togetherAunder real-world load, in the dark, and years after delivery. We own that integration process.
Mission-based system design
We begin with vehicle role, duty cycle, operator workflow, agency standards, serviceability, budget, and future expansionAnot a preselected catalog package.
Controlled electrical installation
Protected power distribution, disciplined routing, secure terminations, labeled circuits, correct load planning, and clean service access are designed into the build.
Logic and fleet consistency
We configure control logic, warning priorities, interlocks, flash patterns, diagnostics, and repeatable programming standards across every vehicle in the fleet.
Validation and lifecycle support
Every vehicle receives functional testing, quality-control review, delivery education, warranty coordination, and direct support from people who understand the build.
*Multiplicity labor-warranty coverage is subject to the written terms, exclusions, and eligibility requirements in the published warranty policy.

Federal and specialty integration
Disciplined engineering for vehicles that have no useful catalog package.
Covert, mobile command, airport operations, prisoner transport, K-9, severe-duty, and mission-specific vehicles require a system designed around the requirement and documented for long-term support.
- Custom wiring, protected power distribution, and control logic
- RF, communications, data, and secure equipment integration
- Mobile command, auxiliary power, and specialty equipment systems
- Prototype, pilot, and repeatable fleet-standard builds
- Documentation, training, firmware support, and controlled revisions

Platform expertise
Leading equipment is only as good as the system around it.
We select and integrate the platform that best fits your agency’s mission, existing fleet standards, service strategy, and lifecycleAnot the convenience of a generic package.
System design, programming, installation, diagnostics, and fleet-standard configuration for SoundOff Signal warning, siren, lighting, and bluePRINT® control platforms.
Police, fire/EMS, and work-truck lighting, siren, control, technical support, warranty coordination, and product lifecycle service through one accountable integration partner.
SoundOff Signal, bluePRINT®, mpower®, nFUSE®, and Federal Signal names and marks are owned by their respective companies. Program credentials and warranty services are subject to current manufacturer terms.
A controlled build process
From the first conversation to years in service.
We make the process understandable. Your team knows what is being selected, why it is being selected, how it will be integrated, and who will support it.

Bring us the mission. We will help build the right specification.
You do not need to arrive with a finished parts list. We help chiefs, fleet managers, procurement teams, mechanics, operators, and project managers compare options, understand tradeoffs, and create a vehicle standard that can be supported for years.
We are here to help, teach, and build a vehicle the end user can trust.
Common questions
Start the project with clarity.
What types of vehicles does Multiplicity upfit?
We support police patrol, K-9, detective, traffic, command, prisoner transport, fire command and support vehicles, EMS units, public works and DOT trucks, airport operations, utility and service vehicles, towing, mobile command, severe-duty, federal, and specialty fleet platforms.
Can Multiplicity design the upfit specification?
Yes. We can begin with your existing specification or help build one from the ground up. The process covers mission requirements, equipment selection, electrical architecture, mounting, programming, fleet consistency, service access, budget, and future expansion.
Which warning and control brands do you support?
Multiplicity is a SoundOff Signal bluePRINT®-certified dealer and a Federal Signal certified master distributor and warranty support center. We also integrate other approved communications, mounting, protection, power, and vehicle-equipment platforms when they fit the project.
Can you create a repeatable fleet package?
Yes. We can standardize equipment, bill of materials, wiring approach, control logic, programming files, labels, mounting, quality-control criteria, and revision control so future vehicles remain consistent and supportable.
Do you work with government purchasing requirements?
Yes. Multiplicity works with government and municipal customers, accepts agency purchase orders, and can coordinate specifications, quotes, phased fleet builds, delivery requirements, and supporting documentation.
Where is Multiplicity located?
Our primary build facility is at 106 East Crestview Circle in Louisburg, Kansas. We support Kansas City-area agencies as well as fleet programs and customers across the United States.
